There is not much to say about the SUPER SOUND EK-470 sound. It´s the processed e-piano sound of a low-cost, garbage keyboard for just 25 Eur. The sound is warm and crunchy.
We recoded every third note in one velocity layer. We also recorded a seperate release and attack sounds. There is a script for controlling the reverb amount and a vibrato. There is also a wah-distortion patch, controlled by the ModWheel.

The ZEITTER & WINKELMANN piano is our rehearsal piano located in one of our control rooms. It´s a small piano built centuries ago, but it has got a nice and organic charme.
We recorded at least every third note without looping the sound (real release). Each note is in 3 velocity layers and a seperate release sound. The mapping is all from C0 toD6 and we added a script for controlling the amount of reverb.

The RHODES MARK I piano was first introduced in 1965. Its sound differs from that of the MARK II or MARK III, it´s less bell-like and has a more comfortable and warmer tone. We´re happy to say that we’ve recorded that real vintage sound and brought it to you. Our RHODES MARK I isn’t in that perfect condition but that’s exactly what makes it so irresistable*.
We recorded at least every third note without looping the sound (real release). Each note is in 4 velocity layers with 2 Round Robin variations and a seperate release sound. The mapping is all from B1 to C7 (88 notes) and we added a script for controlling the amount of reverb, vibrato and distortion.

We dug up these little red organ. It is a Magnus Organ built from the Magnus Harmonica Corporation. This company built and sold the most popular Chord Organ in the 1970s. These little organs use an electric fan to blow air across reeds, like a giant harmonica with keys. They are called ‘chord organs’ because they have chord buttons to be played with the left hand, similar to how a piano player plays with their left hand. Our Magnus Harmonica Organ is unfortunately out of tune. But we did our best and it was certainly worth it. There’s real character to that sound!
We recorded every second note as well as some major and minor chords – all with just one velocity layer. We also recorded a seperate release sound and the sound of the power switch. The mapping is as shown below. There is a script to control the amount of reverb and to switch between the slow and fast mode of the rotary speaker.
